THE government has approved the roadmap for the formulation of its economic blueprint, the National Development Strategy 2 (NDS 2), covering the period from 2026 to 2030.
The roadmap was presented to cabinet by the Minister of Finance, Economic Development, and Investment Promotion, Mthuli Ncube, this week.
The development marks a pivotal step as NDS 1, that was launched in 2021, comes to a close in December 2025.
