ZIMBABWE experienced a massive 83,2 percent rise in tourist arrivals in the first three months of 2024, compared to the same period last year with South African travellers contributing significantly to this marked growth.
This good news is contained in the latest data from the Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency (Zimstat), which shows an impressive 35 percent year-on-year increase in visitors from the key South African source market.
A major reason for this boom continues to be the country’s star tourist attraction, the majestic Victoria Falls.
