Indians invest US$600m in Zimbabwe

THE Indian ambassador to Zimbabwe, Bramha Kumar, says bilateral relations that exist between the two countries have seen US$600 million worth of investment in the southern African nation’s various economic sectors.

Speaking during the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Day in Harare yesterday, Kumar said Indian investors had provided direct and indirect employment to 15 000 Zimbabweans over the years.
