THE government says lack of funding is hampering the growth of the country’s energy sector as reliance on power importation is leading to high tariffs.
Speaking at the renewable energy fund launch organised by Old Mutual in Harare at the weekend, Energy ministry permanent secretary Gloria Magombo said there was a need to increase energy sector funding.
