LPG consumption up 68% in Q1

LIQUEFIED Petroleum Gas (LPG) consumption in Zimbabwe rose by 68 percent in the first quarter of 2025, reaching 26,8 million kilogrammes (kgs), up from 15,98 million kgs in the comparative period, latest data from the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority shows.

In March 2025, LPG consumption increased by 46 percent to 9,23 million kg, up from 6,33 million kg in March 2024.

The highest LPG consumption in 2025 occurred in February, reaching 12,1 million kgs.
