Over 200 exhibitors are expected at the Mine Entra 2023 exhibition at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) grounds in Bulawayo next week.
“Preparations are progressing quite well. We are excited about the mine entra though we had to shift from the traditional month of July to November because of the scheduling of the national harmonised elections.
“So far we have just over 200 exhibitors including nine foreigners from China as well as South Africa. It is not a surprise that the Chinese are participating because they are a significant player in the mining space.
“The Chinese have always showcased their equipment at the show, some of which is targeted at the small scale and artisanal miners. They have consistently supported the platform, and the South Africans as well,” ZITF chief executive Nick Ndebele said in an interview.
