THE Agricultural and Rural Development Advisory Services (Ardas) says it has a deficit of 58 000 tonnes under this year’s government-funded Pfumvudza/Intwasa agriculture inputs programme.
As a result, the government is targeting to allocate each deserving farmer 50 percent of expected inputs to ensure the government-sourced resources available were shared equally.
In the latest update on Pfumvudza/Intwasa, Ardas chief director Leonard Munamati said the input distribution was expected in all rural areas this week.
