THE Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz) has implored operators to adopt artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance communication and internet connectivity.
Artificial intelligence refers to computer systems able to perform tasks normally requiring human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and translation between languages.
Potraz director general, Gift Machengete said because demand for the internet was growing rapidly, service providers needed to embrace the concept of AI for easy management of their networks.
