RAINBOW Tourism Group (RTG) saw a strong performance in the conference business from its city hotels during the second half of last year catapulting revenue 126 percent up to $266,3 billion in the year ended December,31,2023.
The hospitality group’s flagship facility, Rainbow Towers hotel and conference centre in Harare hosted several major events at the tail end of 2023 including being used as the national election command centre during the harmonised elections and hosting the International Conference on Aids and STIs in Africa (ICASA).
These two major events attracted regional and international customers which also improved the group’s foreign currency business.
