POWER utility, Zesa, has issued an ultimatum to all companies to migrate from post-billing meters to prepayment systems by October 1 this year.

This comes as Zesa is owed US$400 million by its customers which it said was exacerbating the country’s energy crisis.

Among those who owe the power utility these huge sums are local authorities, farmers, industrial and government institutions, a situation that has compromised on service delivery.
