Zimbabwe and Mozambique push to end power outages

ZIMBABWE and Mozambique are joining forces to end power outages by enhancing cooperation in energy generation and petroleum production.

The two countries yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on energy cooperation, aimed at promoting economic growth through the use of natural resources.

According to the MoU that was signed by Zimbabwe’s minister of Energy July Moyo and his counterpart Estavao Pale in Mozambique, the agreement acknowledged the need to ensure the availability of sufficient, reliable, least costly energy services that shall assist in the attainment of economic efficiency.
