THE Agricultural and Rural Development Authority (ARDA) is optimistic about a good maize crop yield after its intervention helped farmers nationwide combat the armyworm infestation.
ARDA board chairperson Ivan Craig yesterday urged farmers to continue monitoring their maize crops for signs of armyworms.
“ARDA is looking forward to a good yield after our intervention helped most farmers across the country in the fight against army worm,” he said.
