ZIMBABWE has launched the Zim-Bee Project that aims to drive the growth of the country’s honey sector.

The initiative, supported by the French government, seeks to enhance honey production and boost exports, while also empowering women.

It was officially launched in Harare on Tuesday by the chief director, Economic Cooperation, International Trade, and Diaspora in the ministry of International Trade, Rudo Faranisi. Faranisi said chances were high for the country to produce large volumes of honey.
