ZIMBABWE is set to host the Sadc Transfrontier Conservation Areas (TFCA) summit in Harare from May 18 to 21 to promote the management of shared natural and cultural resources across international boundaries.
The summit would also focus on improving biodiversity conservation and socio-economic development. This was confirmed by the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife spokesperson, Tinashe Farawo.
“TFCAs are collaborative conservation efforts that span across national borders, designed to promote biodiversity conservation, sustainable use of resources, and eco-tourism,” Farawo said.
