ZIMPLATS benefited from an improvement in average metal prices which rose by eight percent during the six months to December 31, 2024 partially offsetting the impact of reduced sales volumes and marking a return to profitability.
This resulted in gross revenue of US$1 252 per six elements (6E) ounce sold, up from US$1 164 a year earlier.
The platinum miner reported a six percent decline in revenue to US$350,2 million compared to the same period in 2023.
