TRENTYRE, a tyre-service subsidiary of Victoria Falls Stock Exchange (VFEX)-listed engineering group Zimplow says the growing competition from cross-border informal traders has adversely affected its business operations.
TrenTyre product range includes brand new tyres, tubes and tyre accessories as well as retreading and repair services.
In its financial results for the year ended December 31, 2024, the group said its tyre unit posted a 29 percent decline in revenue against prior year owing to lower sales volumes across the range.
