ZIMRA employee accused of faking 39 trucks export papers

A ZIMBABWE Revenue Authority (Zimra) employee Tawanda Mupingo, 46, appeared in court yesterday for allegedly facilitating the illegal exportation of 39 truckloads of chrome concentrate to South Africa.

The chrome concentrate is reported to be owned by the Minerals Marketing Authority of Zimbabwe. Mupingo appeared before Harare magistrate Dennis Mangosi facing criminal abuse of office charges before he was granted US$100 bail.
