A NUMBER of Zimbabwean Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises have expressed significant interest in listing on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE).

This move is seen as a strategy to generate more capital and access future funding opportunities. The ZSE recently launched a training program for prospective issuers to provide clarity on the process and benefits of listing on the exchange.

This initiative was prompted by the recognition of the potential of many companies and the knowledge gap regarding the listing process.

During the first session of the prospective issuers training program, chief executive Justin Bgoni explained that the program aims to develop an understanding of securities issuance, enhance market knowledge, foster professional development, provide practical training, encourage collaboration and networking, and evaluate learning outcomes.
