THE Public Service Commission has called on accountants to prioritise ethical conduct, highlighting that adhering to established regulations and professional codes is critical.
Speaking at the Southern Africa Association of Accountants annual conference, secretary of the Public Service Commission represented by head of pay and benefits, Nobert Machinjike, stressed the vital role accountants play as the custodians of public funds. “I urge all accountants to uphold the highest ethical standards and professionalism…,” he said.
