LEADING beverages company Delta Corporation has availed US$10 million to fund this year’s winter barley crop production.
The scheme is under contract farming and targeted 53 commercial growers across the country.
Delta Corporation corporate affairs general manager, Patricia Murambinda, confirmed that apart from funding barley farming, Delta is also sponsoring sorghum growing and 60 percent of maize to meet its needs.
