TOURISM minister Barbra Rwodzi says most top market hotels in the capital are putting final touches on the refurbishment of their facilities ahead of the Sadc summit set for next month.

The minister yesterday said the renovations of the hotels, which will accommodate guests from all 16 Sadc countries, were nearing completion.

“Last week, we went as a group to check the developments at Jameson Hotel and they are more than 90 percent finished. We are saying by 15 July, everything will be done. “Meikles Hotel, which is now called Hyatt Regency, is doing the same. It is going to accommodate about five presidents, while 11 of them will be accommodated at the Rainbow Towers Group,” she said.
