THE 2024 /2025 rain season is expected to start next month amid high hopes of a favourable wet season and authorities have urged farmers to engage in land preparations.
This comes as the Agriculture ministry says 50 percent of the government-sponsored Pfumvudza/Intwasa plots have been prepared and were ready for planting.
Speaking yesterday, Agriculture and Rural Development Advisory Services chief director Leonard Munamati said preparation for the Pfumvudza/Intwasa plots was expected to be completed by October 30.
