PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa has issued a stern warning to currency speculators in Zimbabwe, emphasising that steps were being taken to curb the resurgence of parallel market activities.

Speaking during his state of the nation address, in Parliament yesterday, Mnangagwa highlighted the government’s commitment to stabilising the economy while protecting the public from economic disruptions.
“Corrective measures are being instituted to protect those involved from economic disruptions. Together, let us lay a solid foundation for economic prosperity, peaceful development and freedom from undue external interference.”
