HARARE regional magistrate, Taurai Manuwere, has dismissed an application for discharge which was filed by the acquitted ZB US$2, 7 million heist suspect, who is now facing money laundering charges.
Denis Madondo’s trial commenced last month but denies the charges noting that the State’s claims are the same as he was acquitted earlier. However, magistrate Manuwere dismissed his application for discharge on the basis that he had a case to answer and there was evidence linking him to the commission of the crime.
